"The present collective book aims to be a Manifest for a new Physics, for a new way to look at the natural phenomena. A global new approach with innovative radical conceptual tools is proposed in order to overcome the traditional physics based on the simplistic Cartesian linear model which has shown evident evident signs of exhaustion and wornness. This complex new approach assumes that, in general, the whole is different from the sum of the constituent parts and that a minute action may, under certain conditions, give origin to a huge reaction. So, in general, there is no direct relationship between action and reaction. Furthermore, it assumes that the physical systems, relatively stable regions of the basic chaotic subquantum medium, are in permanent reciprocal interaction modifying therefore the interacting medium and being modified at the same time. The essentially nonlinear mathematical formulation of this complex new Physics is mainly done through the organizing principle of Eurhythmy. This work comes as a result from the long, continued and enlightening discussions among the members of the Research Group on Foundation of Quantum Physics of the Center for Philosophy of Science of the University of Lisbon, a group devoted to the study of the Natural Philosophy. Each researcher of the team has contributed with its own part, according to his particular view and formation, to the body of present Manifest."
