One of the most valuable aspects of this book is that it starts linking through the first two articles, university education with its preceding level: secondary school, a connection that is often overlooked with serious results for both. In this sense, Benito Camacho Martin, the author of one of the articles, an analysis somewhat lucid and dogmatic about the decline in the teaching of literature in secondary schools, both in hours devoted as knowledge. The other items some in English and others in Castilian address different aspects of the teaching of American literature, with an emphasis evident in twentieth-century materials, especially in African-American literature, in fact, the book will be particularly useful for teachers of this area.
